I’ve been waking up with it recently. Lying for hours awake in the grip of such fear. The only thing I find I can do in this situation which always helps me is to listen to Tara Brach. I listened to several of her guided meditations from 5am this morning. And it’s now 11am and I still have her talks playing. Pure soothing sanity, thank you Tara Brach.
