This is so important, to embrace and love and cherish what is happening rather than wanting it to be otherwise. To remember that right now this very second everything is perfect, no matter what is going on. To spend time resisting life as it is and wanting things to be better in some way or other is so painful.
So I take a deep breath, and make a slight smile and metaphorically give my life and all my circumstances a big embracing hug. All of it. Including me. When I do this everything looks different, feels different, and I am at ease.
